William Watson Antiquing

Antiquing once required having a car with a trunk, but social media has made it possible for others to easily join the hunt. The cyber space had already expanded the market for those looking remotely for antique and vintage pieces when the pandemic hit and many antique centers and flea markets had to close. The shift brought consumers just a few direct messages away from scoring the teak bar cart or 1980s swivel pouf of their dreams.

Presently before c-19 we are into Ornaments, Interior designing and buying and selling of all Arts & Antiques in a large form. We basically deal in items and mostly buy them from over-sea and they are of great quality and most of them are expensive and the rest are just averagely affordable depending on the nature of Items. We set up shows twice a year and We display items in several locations like a public auction sale.

Hence, We have a watch word and that is Customer satisfaction and Quality, design and craftsmanship are our most important concerns. For three generations, we have aspired to collect the very best of French 19th century furniture and objects which best represent “le goût français” – the unique taste for luxurious objects and materials beautifully juxtaposed. Displayed over the three shops we maintain at the MAAC and other of our location scattered all across the united states with the Manhattan Art & Antques center standing as the headquaters. Our collection is filled with items from the Belle Epoque of French Furniture in the styles of Louis XV, Louis XVI, Rococo, Second Empire, Japonism, Orientalism, Greek and Egyptian Revival, as well as beautiful 19th and early 20th centuries pieces in marble, bronze and porcelain from Austria and Italy and a couple South America and North America countries.

We are very discerning and we believe that building a good collection is as much about what you reject as it is about what you select to purchase. This philosophy has helped growing our client list with some of the most discerning antique collectors worldwide. Our international clientele includes royalties, celebrities and some of the world’s top interior designers Art Galleries around the world and museums.
